East Linton occurs as village around East Lothian, Scotland, situated on the River Tyne and A1 road five miles east of Haddington. the village has a population of 1,774 (Census 2001).
It has Ace active church - Prestonkirk, however formally experienced the loose church (St Andrew's), the catholic church & the methodist hall.
A punch in St Andrew's previous Church was put inside per village to commemorate Queen Victoria's Jubilee.
the village has a fountain in the square, which has 4 cherubs and lights in top.
Preston Mill, an old watermill, is on the outskirts of the village. There has been the mill on the places since 1599 & these are however working.
East Linton probably gets it's title form the Linn (a falls) on the flow of any stream next to the village.
